Ronse provides affordable LED downlights for residential and commercial spaces. Whether it is a bedroom, kitchen, school or office, our lighting fixtures can illuminate the room with ambient brightness, thanks to the dimmable feature.

These ceiling-recessed LED downlights are sometimes called “can lights” or “pot lights” due to their shape and appearance. They are the king of value for money, not only because they last longer than ordinary light bulbs, but also more efficient than traditional incandescents and fluorescents, which can save about 85% of energy consumption.

We provide different wattage, size, shape, color temperature, lumen LED can lights. The fixtures are all EL, IC and ENERGY STAR® certified. At the same time, they are also easy to install and retrofit, saving you maintenance costs, and are a better choice for spot lighting.

How to install LED downlights?

1. Cut a suitable hole on ceiling and make sure it will not affect other facilities like housing joist., pipe and cable (refer to outside package for exact cut-out size).

2. Correctly connect output of LED driver and input of LED lamp.

3. Correctly put the lamp into install hole, if it’s angle adjustable lamp,adjust it to the needed angle and make sure it’s installed correctly.

4. After correct installation, turn on the power and use. Be attention that distance between LED driver and install hole edge should not be less than 50 mm.

How to replace LED downlights?

1. Before starting any work, turn off the power to the downlights at the circuit breaker or fuse box to prevent electrical shock.

2. You can twist orpull the downlight out of the ceiling or use a small screwdriver to release any retaining clips or springs that hold the fixture in place.

3. Refer to the instructions for “Installing LED downlights” and follow them accordingly.

How long do LED downlights last?

Our products are CE certified and can last for 50,000 hours.

Are all LED downlights dimmable?

No. Not all LED downlights are dimmable. Whether an LED downlight is dimmable depends on the type of LED driver used.

What is the difference between recessed light and downlight?

1. Recessed Light

– A recessed light, also known as a can light or pot light, refers to any type of light fixture that is installed into a ceiling or wall cavity, creating a seamless and flush appearance.

– Recessed lights can include various types of fixtures, such as downlights, spotlights, or adjustable accent lights, all of which are installed in a recessed housing within the ceiling or wall.

– The term “recessed light” is more general and encompasses a broader range of fixtures that are installed in a recessed manner.

2. Downlight

– A downlight specifically refers to a type of recessed light fixture that emits light in a downward direction, typically in a narrow beam pattern.

– Downlights are often used for general illumination in residential, commercial, and retail settings, as well as for accent or task lighting.

– While all downlights are recessed lights, not all recessed lights are downlights. Downlights are a specific subtype of recessed lighting fixtures that provide downward-directed illumination.

Why are my LED downlights not working?

1. Check Power Supply: Ensure that the power supply to the downlights is turned on and functioning correctly. Check the circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a breaker has been tripped or a fuse has blown.

2. Inspect Wiring Connections: Check the wiring connections at the downlights to ensure they are secure and properly connected. Loose or damaged wiring connections can prevent the lights from receiving power.

3. Test Switches: If the downlights are controlled by a wall switch or dimmer, make sure the switch is in the “on” position and functioning correctly. Test the switch by toggling it on and off to see if the lights respond.

4. Check for Dimmer Compatibility: If the downlights are dimmable and controlled by a dimmer switch, ensure that the dimmer is compatible with LED lights. Not all dimmer switches are designed to work with LED lights, which can cause compatibility issues.

5. Inspect LED Drivers: LED downlights often include a built-in LED driver that regulates power to the LEDs. If the driver is faulty or damaged, it can prevent the lights from functioning properly. Check the LED drivers for any signs of damage or overheating.

6. Test with Different Fixtures: If possible, test the power supply by connecting a different fixture or appliance to the same electrical circuit. This can help determine if the issue is with the downlights themselves or the electrical supply.

7. Replace Downlights: If only one or a few downlights are not working, try replacing the those lights.
